Carol Grote of Atlanta, GA has had a lifelong love and appreciation for the arts and anything creative. Her passion for beautiful, interesting environments has included a love of architecture, fabrics and, of course, the art of creating lovely and comfortable interiors for her family and friends. She has turned this passion into a career she loves by owning her own business in association with Decor & You®, the nation’s most exciting and fastest growing interior decorating franchise company. Past jobs have offered Carol the opportunity to utilize her artistic side. While working with a commercial property management company, she was often asked for her opinion on art acquisitions and the placement of those artworks in the office buildings. Her opinion was also sought out for advice on carpet and upholstery choices when renovating various offices and common areas in the buildings owned by the company. A stint as Costume Designer with the Des Moines Ballet brought out Carol’s creativity and design talent with the creation of many different styles of costumes for both the men and women of the dance troupe. In an earlier career as a radio and television show host and producer, she mastered the challenge of keeping her programs fresh and interesting to the listening and viewing audiences.
