Diane Salinas' career in Interior Design began after graduating from California State University, Long Beach with a BA in Home Economics and minor in Marketing. Diane landed a position with a department store selling draperies with their in-home service. She then became a staff designer at a local design firm before venturing off on her own doing free lance design work as Designs by Salinas. Then after several years as a stay-at-home mom, Diane re-entered the work force in the kitchen and bath industry working as a consultant for KitchenAid and as an account manager for Miele Appliances.
Diane's genuine passion and extensive knowledge for Interior Design led her to Décor and You. "Along with continuing design education and certification with Décor and You, I have access to over 300 vendors to provide beautiful windows, flooring and wallcoverings, gorgeous furniture and bedding, and exciting accessories, art and lighting for my clients." Diane can offer her clients a beautifully decorated look reflecting their tastes, while saving them time and costly mistakes.
