That Joanne LaRiccia would establish her own interior decorating business seems, in retrospect, almost inevitable. Her lifelong passion for creative design, combined with her extensive business background, in which she prided herself on delivering the highest level of customer service, made for a perfect marriage when she discovered Decor&You, the nation’s fastest growing decorating franchise.
“With Decor&You, I know that our top priority is helping our clients love the space they’re in”, Joanne explains. “In today’s hectic world, it is more important than ever for people’s space to be a place of beauty, comfort and personal refuge.” To achieve this result, Joanne first meets with clients in their own homes or offices and helps them to define their decorating needs and styles. Next, she creates a customized “DecorPlan” that guides her clients towards their final goal of a complete look. They then make the purchases for the plan all at once or step by step, and all within an agreed upon budget. Through Decor&You, Joanne is able to offer her clients a wide assortment of decorating items from hundreds of quality vendors representing everything from window treatments to wall coverings, furniture to floor coverings, artwork to a delightful assortment of accessories. “Working one-to-one with each client through each step of the process really helps to make decorating FUN again”, says Joanne. Joanne holds a BA in Business Marketing from William Paterson College and is a graduate of the Decor&You extensive training program conducted by its founders, who together represent over 40 years of decorating experience. She has also studied advanced design principles with Mary Gilliatt, author and internationally acclaimed interior designer. Joanne lives with her husband Rob and two daughters, Juliet and Nicole. Together they enjoy doing home improvement projects, gardening and cooking.
