Biography • Are you investing good money in home/office furnishings that just don’t work well? • Is your home keeping up with the needs of your evolving family? • Do you dread the idea of spending your precious free time trudging through run-of-the-mill furniture stores and malls? I’m Therese Bush-Hilgar, and if you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, we need to talk! Forget the stereotype of the old fashioned 'do it my way' decorator. My clients use phrases like “…refreshing…”, “…it’s so easy…” and “…no surprises…” to describe our working relationship. But, be warned -- the experience can be addictive! Whether you need a single window treatment or are decorating your whole home, it is always about your style and your budget. I come to your home or office to assess the space and learn about your needs. We'll work one-on-one to translate your vision into surroundings that achieve your decorating dreams and make you truly love the space you’re in! Having my own interior decorating business is a dream fulfilled. My design skills were honed under world-class instructors at the New York School of Interior Design, where I earned my certification. I have also completed the extensive Decor&You training program, which included the study of advanced design concepts with acclaimed designer and author Mary Gilliatt. On a more personal side, I live in Whitehouse Station with my husband John and Eskipoo 'Maggie'. I am a member of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce and the National Organization of Women Business Owners and I volunteer for many local charities. As a hobby, I find that gardening really keeps me “grounded”. Knowing where to begin your decorating project can be a daunting task.
